Specialized Experience You Can Trust
Juniper OB PT was founded by clinicians with extensive experience in pelvic health physical therapy, including developing the pelvic health program for a large birthing hospital in Central Ohio. This type of work goes beyond treating individual patients—it involves designing care pathways, establishing evaluation standards, and developing treatment approaches for a broad range of pelvic health conditions.
Our specialization in pelvic physical therapy reflects a depth of training and clinical focus that allows for a more precise understanding of symptoms and clearer guidance than is often possible—even in settings where pelvic therapy is offered. For patients, this means clearer explanations, more precise treatment plans, and more confident guidance about how to return to movement, exercise, and daily life.

Care Options That Fit Your Situation
In-Clinic Visits
Most care takes place in our clinic, a calm welcoming space for one-on-one appointments to focus on your recovery. In-clinic visits allow for a full evaluation of how your body is moving and functioning, along with guided treatment to improve strength, stability, and coordination.
Our setting is ideal for ongoing care, returning to activity, and working through symptoms with consistent, structured support.
Virtual Care
For patients who prefer more flexibility or are unable to attend in-person appointments, virtual care offers a convenient way to receive guidance and support from home. Virtual sessions are available for patients located anywhere within Ohio.
These visits focus on education, movement assessment, guided exercises, and practical strategies to help you better understand your symptoms and continue making progress between in-person sessions or from a distance.
At-Home Visits
For patients who may have difficulty traveling—such as new mothers in the early postpartum period or individuals recently discharged after surgery—care can be provided in your home.
At home (mobile care) visits are designed to offer the same thoughtful, personalized support as in-clinic visits in a more accessible setting, helping you begin recovery, manage symptoms, and feel more supported during early phases of your healing process.

Planning for Care at Juniper OB PT
Do you accept health insurance?
Juniper OB PT operates outside of traditional insurance networks. This allows for longer, more personalized, one-on-one care focused entirely on your needs.
You may be able to use HSA or FSA funds, and we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we’re happy to help you understand what your options may be.
What happens during the free mini consultation?
The first step is a mini consultation where you can talk through your symptoms, ask questions, and understand your options. If you move forward, your first visit will be an evaluation that will focus on how your body is functioning and what may be contributing to your symptoms.
What happens during an evaluation?
An evaluation takes place in-person after the mini consultation. The evaluation focuses on understanding how your body is moving and functioning as a whole. This includes discussing your symptoms, reviewing your history, and assessing strength, coordination, and movement patterns. The goal is to identify what may be contributing to your symptoms and create a clear plan for moving forward.
What does a typical treatment session feel like?
Sessions are designed to feel supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your care needs. Your clinician will begin by discussing your symptoms, goals, and how your body has been feeling since your last visit. Treatment may include guided movement, breathing exercises, stretching, strength or mobility work, and education to help you better understand how your body is functioning.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. Depending on your symptoms and goals, sessions may also involve hands-on treatment or assessment to evaluate muscle tension, coordination, or areas of discomfort. Care is designed to be respectful, gradual, and guided by your comfort level. Your clinician will always explain what they are doing, answer questions, and ensure you feel informed and in control throughout the process.
How long does treatment take?
The timeline depends on your symptoms and goals. Some patients improve quickly, while others benefit from ongoing support to rebuild strength and function over time.
