Stay Active and Supported Throughout Pregnancy

As your body changes during pregnancy, you may notice discomfort, instability, or new symptoms that affect how you move. With the right support, you can stay active, feel more comfortable, and prepare your body for birth and recovery.

Some Changes During Pregnancy May Not Feel Right

Pregnancy places new demands on your body. As things shift and adapt, it’s common to notice unexpected or uncomfortable changes that affect stability and movement.

Pelvic, Back or Hip Pain

Pain when rolling in bed, getting out of the car, or walking for longer periods—especially as your body changes and your center of gravity shifts.

Pressure or Heaviness

A feeling of increased pressure or weight in your pelvic area, often later in the day or after standing, walking, or carrying more load.

Core Instability

Feeling less supported through your core when getting up, lifting, or trying to stay active as your body adapts during pregnancy.

Urinary Leakage

Leaking when coughing, sneezing, laughing, or staying active—especially as pressure on the bladder increases during pregnancy.

Pain with Activity

Discomfort or strain during exercise, walking, or daily movement that makes it harder to stay active the way you’d like.

You Want to Do What’s Right for Your Body

During pregnancy, it’s common to question what’s normal and what’s not—especially when your body doesn’t feel the way it used to. You may be trying to stay active, take care of yourself, and prepare for what’s ahead, while also managing new discomforts or uncertainty.

Many women wonder whether they should push through these changes or adjust what they’re doing. In many cases, the right support can help you feel more confident in how your body is moving and responding.

Patients Feel More Supported During Pregnancy

Patients often share that they feel more comfortable, more informed, and more confident as they move through pregnancy with the right support.
Sciatic pain, pressure “down there” (prolapse ) couldn’t stop pee, back pain, debilitating pain after intimacy… pregnancy was so painful and challenging this time. Christine was able to help me with ALL of those! Also — my last two babies were malpositioned ( occiput posterior) and never turned. This baby had no issue turning. I had NO back labor. I am confident that the smoother labor was due to my work with Christine. I am SO thankful for her extensive knowledge, kindness & her encouragement. You will not regret choosing to work with her!!!

I had a great experience with Christine. She helped me during my prenatal and postnatal care. She always answered my questions and helped me with various pained areas as well as gave me strength building exercises to do during my prenatal months as well as postnatal.

I cannot recommend Christine enough! I began seeing her in the last trimester of pregnancy, and she was such an incredible support in preparing my body and mind for labor. She gave me tools, knowledge, and confidence that made such a difference in how I approached birth. Since then, I’ve continued to see her throughout my postpartum journey (now 6 months), and she has been an absolute key in helping me rebuild pelvic floor, core, and overall strength. Beyond the exercises, she has taught me so much about how the woman’s body works and how to truly take care of myself during this season of life. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and empowering. I am so grateful for her guidance and care!

Great experience working with Christine through telehealth. She made me feel comfortable and has knack for explaining exercises and processes in a way that is easy to understand. This is my second pregnancy and I wish I would have found her sooner! I had a lot of morning sickness with both pregnancies which was resulting in leaking while also getting sick but then carried over into other life activities. Not fun. Christine showed me exercises in various positions that I could perform throughout the day which helped reduce these symptoms tremendously. She is invested in my care and my needs and making me feel confident going into my delivery and postpartum. Flexible with scheduling even being in a different time zone than me! Highly recommend her services even if you don’t live in Ohio! Just because your symptoms are common doesn’t mean you have to live with them.

I have had the pleasure of collaborating professionally and personally with Christine and could not recommend her enough! Christine helped me prepare for the labor of my daughter and made sure I understood each piece of information thoroughly. The birth prep information helped to ease my anxiety and made me feel more confident. Christine is incredibly knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She is always on my list of recommendations for anyone I know!
