Find Relief from Ongoing Pain and Discomfort

If you’ve been dealing with pelvic pain, pressure, or discomfort that hasn’t gone away, it can start to affect how you move, feel, and go about your day. With the right support, it’s often possible to better understand what’s happening and find meaningful relief.

When Pain or Discomfort Doesn’t Go Away

Ongoing symptoms can show up in different ways—and aren’t always easy to explain. If something hasn’t felt right for a while, you’re not alone, and it may be connected to how your body is functioning.

Ongoing Pelvic Pain

Pain that persists in the lower abdomen, pelvis, or genital area—sometimes sharp, aching, or burning—and often without a clear cause, pattern, or explanation.

Pain with Daily Activity

Discomfort when sitting, standing, or walking—especially during longer periods or transitions—that makes it harder to stay comfortable or move through your day with ease.

Bladder or Bowel Pain

Pain, urgency, or irritation related to bladder or bowel function, including frequent urges, difficulty emptying, or discomfort that interrupts your routine or daily activities.

Pain with Intimacy

Discomfort during or after sexual activity, including pain, tightness, or sensitivity, that affects physical comfort, confidence, or your ability to relax and feel at ease.

Tension or Sensitivity

A feeling of tightness, pressure, or heightened sensitivity—sometimes including spasms or unusual sensations—that can be difficult to describe and may change throughout the day.

It Can Be Frustrating When Symptoms Don’t Improve

When pain or discomfort lingers, it’s common to feel uncertain about what’s causing it—or whether anything will actually help. You may have tried to manage it on your own, adjusted your routine, or been told that everything looks “normal,” even though it doesn’t feel that way.

Over time, these symptoms can affect how you move, your energy, and your confidence in your body. In many cases, they are connected to how the pelvic floor and surrounding systems are functioning—and with the right provider and approach, they can improve.

A Specialized Approach to Ongoing Symptoms

At Juniper OB PT, care is designed to help you better understand the underlying cause of your symptoms and how your body is responding over time. Treatment focuses on improving how the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles function—reducing tension, improving coordination, and supporting more comfortable movement.

This approach can be helpful for a range of conditions, including endometriosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, interstitial cystitis, chronic prostatitis, and other ongoing or hard-to-resolve symptoms. Care is always tailored to your body, your history, and your goals.

→ Identify underlying contributors to ongoing pain and discomfort

→ Improve muscle coordination, mobility, and support

→ Reduce tension and sensitivity in the pelvic area

Questions About Ongoing Pain and Treatment

Yes. Many patients begin care after months or years of ongoing symptoms. Even long-standing discomfort is often connected to how the pelvic floor and surrounding systems are functioning—and that can improve with the right support.

Yes. Men can experience many of the same pelvic health symptoms as women, including pain, pressure, bladder or bowel changes, and discomfort during movement or daily activities. These symptoms are often related to how the pelvic floor and surrounding muscles are functioning—and many can improve with the right support.

Juniper OB PT also works with men experiencing symptoms more specific to male pelvic health, including pelvic or testicular pain, discomfort after prostate procedures, erectile dysfunction, tailbone pain, and ongoing tension or discomfort in the pelvic region.

A mini consultation is the best way to better understand what’s contributing to your symptoms and whether pelvic health therapy may help.

Pelvic health therapy offers a different perspective by focusing on how your body is moving and functioning. It can complement other treatments and help address underlying contributors that may not have been fully explored.

Care is designed to be gradual and respectful of your comfort level. The focus is on reducing pain, not increasing it, and each step is explained so you feel informed and in control.

If symptoms are ongoing and affecting your daily life, it may be worth taking a closer look. A mini consultation is a simple way to understand what’s happening and whether this approach could help.

Recovery timelines vary. Some patients improve quickly, while others benefit from ongoing support to rebuild strength and function over time.

Sciatic pain, pressure “down there” (prolapse ) couldn’t stop pee, back pain, debilitating pain after intimacy… pregnancy was so painful and challenging this time. Christine was able to help me with ALL of those! Also — my last two babies were malpositioned ( occiput posterior) and never turned. This baby had no issue turning. I had NO back labor. I am confident that the smoother labor was due to my work with Christine. I am SO thankful for her extensive knowledge, kindness & her encouragement. You will not regret choosing to work with her!!!

I had never been to pelvic floor PT before and was intimidated to go after my first birth, but working with Christine was so easy and joyful and empowering!! I love that she came to my home to show me how to work in my environment! She was so respectful, fun, flexible, encouraging, and realistic!! We worked for 6 mo and I experienced SO much restoration and strengthening! I couldn’t even sit without pain at my first visit and now I am pain free, have a gym plan, and feel comfortable working out! Thank you Christine- don’t hesitate to book with her. She’s a total pro and makes you feel comfortable to ask for more clarity or say you don’t like something. She will take you step by step through all the complications of full recovery! 10/10!
